Virginia Resort Introduces New Tiered Rate Schedule for Individual and Family Passes;

Lowest Season Pass Prices Available Through August 31st 

McGaheysville, Va – August 18, 2020Massanutten Resort, a premier all-season resort destination in the heart of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, today announced it being the last chance to purchase season passes for the 2020/21 ski season at the best rate. Now through August 31st, skiers and snowboarders will be able to receive the lowest pass prices of the season when purchasing in advance through the resort’s tiered rate schedule. New to the resort this year, a family pass offering for four immediate family members is also available for purchase. 

“We are more excited than ever to hit the slopes this ski season, and to welcome winter with affordable pass options for snow sport enthusiasts and vacationers,” said Kenny Hess, director of sports and risk management at Massanutten Resort. “While we are all hopeful for a great ski season, we understand that many pass holders are concerned with the current circumstances due to COVID-19. As a result, we have developed a thoughtful plan for our guests to purchase their ski season passes in advance with added peace of mind.” 

Massanutten Resort’s individual and family passes are available for purchase now through February 28th, 2021 for the 2020/21 ski season. The rate schedule is as follows: 

  • Now – August 31, 2020
    • Special Value Individual Pass: $309; Full Season Individual Pass: $453; Full Season Student Pass: $385; Special Value Family Pass: $1,120; Full Season Family Pass: $1,520
  • September 1, 2020  – October 31, 2020
    • Special Value Individual Pass: $334; Full Season Individual Pass: $478; Full Season Student Pass: $410; Special Value Family Pass: $1,200; Full Season Family Pass: $1,640
  • November 1, 2020 – December 10, 2020
    • Special Value Individual Pass: $359; Full Season Individual Pass: $528; Full Season Student Pass: $460; Special Value Family Pass: $1,280; Full Season Family Pass: $1,850
  • December 11, 2020 – February 28, 2021
    • Special Value Individual Pass: $398; Full Season Individual Pass: $586; Full Season Student Pass: $511; Special Value Family Pass: $1,400; Full Season Family Pass: $2,050

 

For added assurance and commitment to guests, pass purchases made July 1, 2020 – October 31, 2020 are eligible for a full refund, no questions asked. The refund deadline is November 1, 2020. Additionally, pass purchases qualify for a free one-time deferment to the 2021/22 ski season regardless of pass price increases next season, as long as requests are made prior to opening day of the season or physically picking the pass if the season has begun.

At 2,922 feet of elevation, Massanutten Resort offers 70 skiable acres of terrain suitable for all levels, from the beginner to the advanced skier or snowboarder. Introduced last year, the resort also offers a terrain-based learning program taught by world-class instructors to master the slopes. Other winter activities at the resort include snow tubing at the Massanutten Family Adventure Park and ice skating on the outdoor rink.
