Company Provides Urgent Relief, Bringing Critical Supplies to Capital City of Juba
Fort Lauderdale, FL – August 12, 2019 – Air Partner – a market leader in private aviation with experience in disaster recovery – is frequently called on to support relief efforts, proactively, during a crisis and/or after a moment of impact. On July 10, the company was contacted by a national humanitarian organization to assist with the safe and speedy delivery of food and supplies to South Sudan, a country that is currently hosting one of the largest number of refugees in the world.
The project spanned over the course of three weeks and required 18 flights to transport over 400 large pallets of non-perishable food to the people of South Sudan. 
Air Partner’s freight division provided eight flights via Boeing 747 and ten via Ilyushin IL-76, traveling from the United States to Juba. During this humanitarian aid effort, Air Partner moved approximately one million pounds of Therapeutic Food. Air Partner’s team worked around the clock to mobilize and deliver this time-critical cargo successfully.

In 2018, Air Partner completed more than 30 flights in less than 30 days in the wake of Super Typhoon Yutu, and also coordinated the transport and delivery of more than 2,000 tons of relief cargo from the United States to Guam.
