GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – April 27, 2023 – Explore Gwinnett, the official tourism organization of Gwinnett County, today announced applications are now open for its 2023 Gwinnett Creativity Fund (GCF) Project Grants. This initiative, now in its fourth year, provides financial support to Gwinnett County arts and cultural programs with the goal of expanding the community’s diverse and growing cultural scene.
“Gwinnett County is home to so many amazing nonprofit organizations led by talented, passionate and driven individuals and teams and every year, we are blown away by the applications we receive,” Lisa Anders, executive director of Explore Gwinnett, said. “It brings us great joy to support our arts and culture partners as they contribute to the vitality of our community.”
Open now through May 10, the GCF grant is available to nonprofit organizations. Applications are reviewed by an impartial panel. Grant winners will be notified by the end of May 2023. Last year, Explore Gwinnett awarded more than $115,000 in operational grants to 13 Gwinnett County nonprofit arts and cultural organizations through the Gwinnett Creativity Fund.
With the mission to highlight the county as a community with a flourishing arts and culture scene, Explore Gwinnett continues to find ways to promote and support partners who contribute to the overall cultural landscape. With a variety of galleries, performing arts venues and educational institutions, there are endless possibilities for visitors and locals to expand their knowledge of art within the destination.
