Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – (January 15, 2019) – On the heels of its grand re-opening celebration, Gatsby’s Joint, a popular 1920’s speakeasystyle restaurant and bar located in North Fort Lauderdale, today announced a new Sunday Brunch.  Featuring classic breakfast dishes and $12 bottomless Bloody Mary’s and mimosas, brunch service will begin at 11 a.m. on January 20, continuing 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday, ongoing.  

Crafted by Chef Matthew Seibert, the new brunch menu features an assortment of both traditional and unique benedicts and omelets. Other items include crowd favorites like Chicken n’ Waffles, a Fried Grouper Sandwich, a prime beef burger, “Pile of Pancakes,” and Shrimp and Orzo. For lighter fare, guests will enjoy a Spinach and Shrimp Salad or the Avocado My Way Sandwich. Unique side items  include Fries My Way, Gatsby’s’ Signature Cornbread, Fried Potatoes with Dill, and – a fan favorite – Gatsby’s Candied Bacon. 

 “We are so excited to expand our offerings to include brunch service,” said Gatsby’s Joint Founder and Owner Elaine Krieger. “With live music featuring locally acclaimed talent, a versatile menu,  and incredible pricing on bottomless Bloody Mary’s and mimosas, we believe Gatsby’s Joint is about to become Fort Lauderdale’s hottest new brunch destination.” 

 Beyond brunch, Gatsby’s Joint has much to offer South Floridians seeking  a new spot to sip, savor and hang out with friends or family.  The restaurant’s happy hour specials are available weeknights from 5 to 7 p.m. with house select wine, beer and well liquors for $4, signature cocktails for $7, and appetizers ranging from $6 to $8. The restaurant also offers nightly live entertainment beginning at 5 p.m. on Fridays, 7 p.m. on Saturdays and 6 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays.  A rotating schedule features acoustic, blues, jazz, classic rock, Top 40 and more. Monday’s with Mel Williams, Tuesday’s with Davis & Dow, and other great bands such as the Funky Blues Band, Piano Bob’s 88’s Trio, and Acoustic Souls.
