Massanutten Resort Invites Guests to Summer Festival Featuring Live
Music, Beer & Wine, Food Vendors, Arts & Crafts Vendors and More
MASSANUTTEN, Va. – (August 10, 2023) – Massanutten Resort, a premier, all-season resort located in the heart of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, today announced the return of its annual ValleyFest Beer & Wine Festival, which will take place Saturday, August 26, from noon to 6:30 p.m. The festival will offer an exceptional mix of music, drinks, arts and crafts and delectable delights.
“The Rotary Club is deeply appreciative of Massanutten Resort and ValleyFest, as it allows the community to have fun while making a meaningful impact on the community,” said Andy Vanhook, a member of the Rotary Clubs of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. “This year’s ValleyFest is set to be an exciting and charitable that not only promises a fun-filled day but also raises funds for vital community initiatives.”
Festival goers can indulge in a harmonious experience, savoring music from all genres including country, rock and pop, all while treating their taste buds to delicious food and drinks. The 2023 ValleyFest band line-up will include Mike Davis who will kick off the day’s festivities with an electric lineup of rock and country classics and pop music from today and yesterday, from noon to 1 p.m. Following the performance of Mike Davis, get ready to groove as Totally Stoked, a 90’s and 2000s party band, lights up the stage from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. Next up, Vertigo Red will take the stage from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. with its crowd-pleasing party rock music covers. Wrapping up the festivities with a bang, The Barons will take the stage from 5 to 6:30 p.m., ensuring the energy stays high with its exhilarating boot-shakin’ rock and roll music.
ValleyFest will feature representation from many local breweries, wineries and food vendors including Bayou Kitchen, K’s Grill, Thirsty’s Burger, Urgie’s Cheesesteaks, Sherri’s Crab Cakes, Base Camp, Bowles Southern Fried and Prepopsterous Popcorn. A delicious array of wine and cider will be provided by Castle Glen Winery, CrossKeys Vineyards, Cobbler Mountain Cider, Mattaponi Winery, Cailhailian Vineyard and Zoll Vineyards. The breweries in attendance will feature local Virginia craft breweries, such as 2 Silos, Beale’s Brewing and 3 Notch’d, some national favorites like Twisted Tea, Samuel Adams and Truly Seltzer, as well as MolsonCoors flagships like Coors Light and Blue Moon.
Other event vendors will include art booths with options to purchase a plethora of items, such as fair trade clothing and accessories, candles and cosmetic items, repurposed home décor and more.
For the first year ever, Massanutten Resort is proud to announce its ValleyFest 2023 Lodging Package, a fantastic opportunity to save 10% on all available lodging options, along with the option to include ValleyFest Beer & Wine Festival tickets. This package allows for lodging between August 24, 2023, and August 29, 2023. Each lodging package allows for a total of six tickets, with a minimum requirement of two tickets.
Now through August 25, 2023, guests can take advantage of the advance ticket price of $32. Military members with a Valid Military ID are able to take advantage of a special discounted price of $25 per ticket. Individuals under the age of 21 and designated drivers, can acquire tickets at the reduced price of $10. Admission for children aged 10 or younger is complimentary. Tickets at the gate will be available for $45.
