Fort Lauderdale, FL – October 22, 2018 – Walgreens Gridiron GrillOff Food, Wine & Music Festival presented by the UHealth Clinic at Walgreens is amplifying this year’s event schedule with a live music line-up featuring A-list artists. Hosted at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater, the star-studded performances are part of the new Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Gridiron Grill-Off Concert Series powered by the Greater Fort Lauderdale CVB’s Underground Music in Partnership with AEG Presents.

Walgreens Gridiron Grill-Off Food, Wine & Music Festival presented by the UHealth Clinic at Walgreens returns to the Pompano Beach Amphitheater November 9-11 with a new BBQ Pit Masters competition and tailgating experience, an ACL Celebrity Cornhole Challenge, and more. As part of the new concert series, the event will kick off Friday, November 9 with Grammy awardwinning artist Vince Gill. Rock bands Sister Hazel and Barenaked Ladies will perform on Saturday, November 10, while hit rock group Daughtry wraps up the weekend with an evening performance on Sunday, November 11.
All proceeds from this year’s festival will benefit Offerdahl’s Hand-Off Foundation to Feed the Needs of Those in Crisis in our community.

Walgreens Gridiron Grill-Off Food, Wine & Music Festival presented by the UHealth Clinic at Walgreens is a weekend-long celebration that pairs celebrity chefs in South Florida with NFL legends to create signature grilled dishes while raising money to positively impact South Florida. Since 2010, the festival has raised money to support foster care and homeless agencies across
South Florida and became a subsidiary of the Offerdahl’s Hand-Off Foundation in 2013. The annual event continues to grow each year drawing an average of 3,000 attendees. This year’s ninth annual Gridiron Grill-Off will feature three nights of concerts, a BBQ Pit Masters Competition and unique tailgate experience during the Dolphins versus Packers game on Sunday, November 11. The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Gridiron Grill-Off Concert Series Powered by the Greater Fort Lauderdale CVB’s partnership with AEG Presents will feature performances by Vince Gill, Barenaked Ladies, Sister Hazel and Daughtry. Attendees will enjoy the grilling competition, complemented by several additions including new sponsors, live entertainment, a cornhole tournament, a refreshed silent auction and more. Participating restaurants this year include Beach House Pompano, Oceans 234, Naked Taco and Pelican Landing, among many others.
