Atlanta Castle Collecting Non-Perishable Canned Goods, Offering Ticket Discounts

ATLANTA – (JANUARY 14, 2019) – Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament’s Atlanta Castle is extending the season of giving, today announcing the launch of its annual ‘Fill the Pantry’ food drive. Now through February 28, the family-favorite Atlanta dinner and entertainment venue will collect nonperishable food items to donate to Atlanta Community Food Bank. To encourage giving, the Castle is offering general admission tickets for $35 with online code FOOD19.

“We hope to inspire everyone to continue their giving spirit into the new year,” said Will Phillips, general manager of Medieval Times Atlanta. “Local pantries, like our Atlanta Community Food Bank, are still in need after the holidays are over. We’re proud to show our support, help re-stock their shelves and offer our guests a little incentive.”

The ‘Fill the Pantry’ food drive is a company-wide initiative held as part of Medieval Times’ Chivalry in Action campaign. This marks the Atlanta Castle’s 14th year participating, having collected donations for the Atlanta community since opening its doors in 2006.

Upon completion of the food drive, the Queen and chivalrous knights will hand-deliver donations and volunteer their time and services to Atlanta Community Food Bank.

The campaign comes at an exciting time for the Atlanta Castle, which recently debuted the new, femaleled show – the first in the company’s history. Queen Dona Maria Isabella, now the sole ruler, presides over a tournament of knights who gather in celebration to test their skill against one another in a series of games, jousting, and combat. Guests can still find plenty of what they’ve come to love in the new show including incredible displays of horsemanship and an amazing four-course feast.
